1. Acceptance of terms

Welcome to BohraWeds. By accessing or using our website, apps and services (together, the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to both families booking vendors and vendors offering services.

2. Our role

BohraWeds is a marketplace that helps families discover, compare and book wedding vendors. We are not a party to any contract for services between a family and a vendor. Vendors are independent businesses responsible for the services they provide. We verify vendors before listing but do not guarantee any particular outcome.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information to create an account.
• One mobile number is one account: it is either a family (customer) or a vendor, never both.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use at hello@bohraweds.com.

4. Enquiries & bookings

When you send an enquiry, you agree to share accurate event details. A booking is confirmed once you and the vendor agree on the scope, dates and price. Bookings, payments for services and delivery are between you and the vendor; BohraWeds facilitates the introduction and the conversation, and keeps a record of the enquiry.

5. Payments, fees & refunds

• Families pay for services at the price agreed with the vendor, directly to the vendor; there is no platform fee for families.
• Vendors pay for their presence on BohraWeds. A vendor pays for a city, for a fixed term, and may then list as many of their services in it as they like at no extra cost; the price depends on the city, and there is no free tier. BohraWeds may give a vendor a coupon that lowers or waives the price; it is applied when the vendor pays. Paid placements (Featured, Blue Tick, ad campaigns and blog articles) are charged separately. Everything activates only once payment is confirmed, and stops showing when its term ends unless it is renewed.
• Refunds for cancelled bookings between a family and a vendor follow the cancellation terms agreed with that vendor; BohraWeds is not a party to them.
• No refunds: every payment made to BohraWeds is final and non-refundable. This covers cities, Featured, Blue Tick, ad campaigns, blog articles and any other paid feature, and it applies when a vendor stops using a feature, removes a listing or closes their account before the term ends, and when an advertisement or article is rejected for breaching these terms.
• The one exception: if BohraWeds cannot provide what was paid for (for example, the dates of an ad campaign were booked by another vendor a moment before your payment completed), that payment is refunded in full to the original payment method.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. BohraWeds never sees or stores your card details.

6. Vendor obligations

• Provide accurate listing, pricing and availability information and keep it up to date.
• Hold the licences and permissions required to offer your services.
• Respond to enquiries in good faith and honour confirmed bookings.
• Keep conversations with families on BohraWeds, so enquiries, quotes and reviews stay on the record.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including posting false, unlawful or misleading content, harassing others, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or interfering with the operation of the service. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences from real bookings.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design, logos and content are owned by BohraWeds or its licensors. Vendors grant us a licence to display their listing content to promote their services. You may not copy or reuse Platform content without permission.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, BohraWeds is not liable for the acts or omissions of vendors, for the quality of services booked, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or harm the community. You may close your account at any time; certain records may be retained as required by law.

11. Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Mumbai. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
